AUREL is one of the leading Czech companies operating in the automotive industry. Aurel specialises in product development, design, testing and homologation, and has recently opened its own test polygon for ADAS systems and controls with higher levels of automation in Doksy, which I had the opportunity to visit in person. The tour of the Czech test polygon was great! I’m all the more pleased that the CEO of the company Michal Mrkvička, shared with us the company’s fascinating journey from its founding in 2005, through specialization in surface treatment of materials, to development in active safety and testing. I am grateful for the opportunity to get to know Aurel and its contribution to the Czech automotive industry up close. Their innovation and commitment to road safety is all the more inspiring because they are a family-run business that prides itself on its human approach, even though it is a company with over 200 employees and an international reach.
